COMPOSITE FILLING CYLINDERS
ShootAir composite charging cylinders are specifically designed for air rifle filling or charging. The special charging valve enables slow and controlled filling of the air rifle. Unlike most cylinder valves, the outlet pressure is displayed on the gauge to ensure you don’t overfill. Being composite carbon fibre and aluminium, ShootAir composite charging cylinders are the most portable PCP Air rifle filling cylinders available. Comfortable to carry in a backpack to the rifle range or on a hunting trip. These composite charging cylinders are certified for use in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America alleviating the need for you to be concerned about compliance, given the strict cylinder import regulations for Australia and New Zealand. The thread on the outlet fitting of the hose is standard and adaptors will fit all filling nosels with a standard thread enabling use with every rifle. The ShootAir Composite PCP air rifle charging cylinders are supplied with the Breathing Air Industry standard DIN 300 connection, allowing for problem free filling or charging at any dive shop. FILLING PROCESS
The valve outlet on these cylinders is the industry standard DIN 300 which can be filled at most breathing air filling stations catering for scuba diving, mining, shipping and firefighting. To fill a PCP air rifle, attach the hose provided to the cylinder and the PCP Air Rifle, slowly open the cylinder valve by rotating it anti-clockwise (half a turn may be sufficient), fill to 200 PSI below the recommended air rifle fill pressure and turn off cylinder valve. After 30 minutes, repeat this process to full service pressure. This two-stage filling process enables the air in the air rifle to stabilise and ensures it is not accidentally over-filled.
HYDRO TESTING
Composite PCP Air Rifle filling cylinders must be hydro-testing in accordance with local regulations. This is every 5 years for these composite cylinders in New Zealand and Australia.
High Pressure Air System
Shootair PCP air rifle charging cylinders are rated for use on high pressure air to provide a high air to weight ratio to provide a highly portable and light weight PCP Air rifle charging cylinder.
